MEET OUR TEAM!!

Jennifer L. Casey Hodge, DVM and Owner

I graduated from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelors Degree in Animal Science.  I graduated from the North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine, following a lifetime dream of becoming a small animal veterinarian.  After spending my first two years in general small animal practice, I joined the staff at the Cat Clinic of Cary in 2001 due to my love for cats and my interest in feline veterinary medicine.  On May 1, 2006 I became the proud new owner of the Cat Clinic of Cary.  I am the proud mom of 7 dogs (Shar Pei “Paddie”, Yellow Lab “Klesko”, Pugs “Otis”, “Percie”, and “Jackson”, Chocolate Lab “Cody”, and Beagle/Jack Russel mix “Reuben”) and 6 cats (“Clyde”, “Timmie”, “Jellie”, “Willie”, “Milo”, and "Weenie").  My special interest lies in the care of special needs pets and as a result, eight of my babies have some sort of medical ailment that requires special care. On my days off from the Cat Clinic, I spend time at Camp Musart, a trackout camp for children, teaching about routine pet and veterinary care and how to play the recorder.

MEET OUR STAFF!!

Gail Reichert

I have been part of the Cat Clinic of Cary family since March, 2010.  I moved to the area from New York to be closer to family members as well as to enjoy the beautiful weather North Carolina is notorious for.  I received my degree in veterinary technology in 1998 from SUNY Delhi in New York.  I was employed as a Registered Veterinary Technician for 12 years before moving to North Carolina.  I am fortunate to be a part of the  Cat Clinic team where I am able to continue to utilize my professional skills as well as enjoy all the wonderful cats we see on a daily basis.  I am the proud mom of three feline family members, all of which are orange and white in color and incredibly spoiled.  I am also the owner of a special needs kitty named “Eyegone”. “Eyegone” was abandoned as a kitten at a veterinary hospital I worked at in New York.  He suffered from a severe herpes virus infection affecting his eyes which resulted in the surgical removal of one of his eyes and left him with partial vision in the other eye.  I am glad to say that despite his disability, “Eyegone” is now 11 years old and has been able to live a normal, happy life.
